How does Merit Money work?
To create the currency in the Market, we used the concept of Merit Money
– a simple system of appreciating by rewarding,
based on the exchange of points for merit and good cooperation.
Each user receives the same pool of points, by default called coffee beans, each week.
As a show of gratitude or appreciation, users can transfer any number of their beans to each other.
The transferred beans disappear from the sender’s account, go to the recipient’s account and turn into coffee cups. At the same time they become currency for use in the Market.
